What exactly is a ghostwriter?
By definition, a ghostwriter is a person who writes for another who is then credited with authorship. In other words, the ghostwriter does all the work and you get all the credit. No one ever has to know you didn't write the material yourself, hence the use of the term "ghost" in ghostwriter.
What kind of literary projects do you accept?
Other than material which constitutes pornographic or abusively offensive intent, Ghostwriter has few restrictions on what form of literary content we will accept. Our purpose is not to pass judgment but rather assist you in your writing endeavors.
I have a specific topic in mind but don't have the time or inclination to write an entire book. What should I do?
Simply send us your topic and a specific outline of what information you would like the subject matter to include. We'll do all the research and then write the content for you in double-spaced manuscript format. If you have already begun to write your manuscript and simply need more overall content, Ghostwriter can take care of that as well.

I've written my manuscript but don't feel confident about it's overall quality. Should I hire someone to help?
Definitely. In general, it's always a good idea to have your work examined and/or critiqued by an impartial second party, mainly because most writers (amateurs and professionals alike) are much too close to their own work to exact a final and proper edit. Correction of spelling, grammar, and punctuation are all crucial to the overall success of any publication.
How do I submit my material/pages for evaluation?
The easiest method is to send your document(s) as an email attachment (basic WordPad .doc format is recommended). Alternatively, you can simply include the material (copy and paste method) within the body of the email message itself.
How much content should I send?
Anywhere from a half to a full page of single spaced content should be sufficient for evaluation. Also, try to choose content which accurately reflects the nature of your overall writing skills as well as the subject matter. This will help us accurately determine the degree of assistance you require and also the price of our services.

Is my book content/material safe in your hands?
Ghostwriter is a professional business service. We guarantee that all information provided will be held in strict confidence and will not be used for any purpose other than that which our client (or prospective client) has given their expressed permission.
Am I relinquishing copyright of my existing material?
Absolutely not! Any and all content of your manuscript or book is owned by you exclusively. You and you alone retain copyright. In the event Ghostwriter provides you with original content, ownership and copyright of that material passes directly to you the moment you complete your payment obligations.
What happens after I send my content to Ghostwriter?
The material you submit will be carefully reviewed in order to determine whether or not we can assist you with your project. If we accept your project, and you have provided sufficient information, we will also send you a price quote.

Do you require a down payment or deposit?
Depending on the overall extent and complexity of the project, a "good faith" deposit might be required in order to initiate our ghostwriter services. Both the requirement and amount are handled on a case-by-case basis.
What kind of payment methods are available?
For online payments, we use PayPal.com. Alternatively, you can send money order payments via postal mail.
What takes place after I send my deposit?
You will receive a "sample" writing based on information and/or existing material you provide. Once you have reviewed the sample, you have two choices: 1) Send an email to Ghostwriter stating that you approve and would like the work to proceed. 2) Send an email to Ghostwriter stating that you don't approve and would like the project to be terminated.
Will I lose my deposit if I choose not to hire your services?
If, after reviewing the sample writing, you specified that you would like the project to be terminated, your entire deposit will be returned to you. NOTE: Once you approve of the sample writing and agree to proceed, your deposit can not be refunded.

What type of documents are required for compiling an ebook?
If you would like Ghostwriter to compile your material into a finished, market-ready ebook (EXE format), the pages need to be submitted in HTML format.
What if I can't HTML code my own ebook pages?
If you need your content converted to HTML format, Ghostwriter will take care of all the coding including the design, layout, and navigation from one page to another. Plus, we insert all of the coding manually. Unlike editing software, this "hands on" method guarantees that the HTML coding is 100% accurate throughout the entire content.
How long will it take to compile my ebook?
Assuming your pages are properly HTML coded, you will receive your completed, market-ready ebook within five days of the time you submitted your ebook material.

Can graphics be included in my ebook?
Certainly. Simply submit your .GIF or .JPG images right along with your other ebook documents and we'll include them in the ebook compiler directory. As long as your pages are properly coded with the HTML image tag <img src="name-of-image.gif">, the graphics will be displayed in your ebook just as they would be on a web page.
What type of ebook compiler software is used?
All EXE ebooks are compiled using eBook Edit Pro, a full-featured program which is capable of creating highly professional products.
Do you compile/create PDF ebooks?
Yes. We can create and compile whatever document you require in PDF format.
Can I terminate a Ghostwriter project once it's begun?
A Ghostwriter project can be terminated at any time but is subject to the following condition: You must first meet any and all financial obligations associated with work that has already been performed and which exceeds the amount of the initial deposit.
