Blank Ebook Covers
Blank ebook covers... you want them, you find them, you download them.
(In case you're wondering, to download a blank ebook cover just right-click on the ebook cover graphic and then save it to your own computer.)
Now what?
Once you have a blank ebook cover, the only thing left to do is add your own custom text and ebook cover graphic.
How do you do that?
Easy. Just open any draw program and get to work. Naturally, all draw programs are different but they generally have both a text tool and an easy method to import graphics.
Adding text to a blank ebook cover is pretty straightforward. You click on the text tool and type the type you want. During or after that process, you can select things like font face, size, color, and effects.
But don't get too carried away. You want to turn your blank ebook covers into realistic images. To do that, you need to pattern your design after real printed book jackets.
For the most part, text on the covers of real books is bold and flat, using common fonts. Backgrounds are almost always plain and there's usually a nice photo or professional image that clearly represents the subject of the book.
If you're familiar with draw features like skew, rotate, shaping (with nodes), you won't have any problem whatsoever aligning your text with any of the blank ebook covers.
If you're new to all this, don't give up. It takes time to get the hang of all the little details that turn a plain ebook cover into something spectacular.
Be patient. With some practice, you'll be turning all those blank ebook covers into professional looking designs in no time!
